FAQs

How do I prepare for my first appointment? Prior to your first appointment you will be sent a consent form and an intake form to complete. This will help us prepare ahead of time and make the most of our time together.

What can I expect following my appointment? Following your consultation you will receive a protocol with dietary guidelines, lifestyle recommendations and custom blended herbal remedies. The herbal remedies may include tea, tincture and a flower essence to take for one month. Herbal products are sold separately and are not included in the cost of the consultation.

What is your cancellation policy? We ask for 24 hours notice for any cancellation/reschedule request. Any changes to your appointment made within 24 hours will results in a $50 fee. Please note that any notification made at least 24 hours prior to your appointment will quality as sufficient notice, so please email or send a message any time.

How long until I see results? Many of our clients start to feel better in the first month. However, long term chronic conditions can take several months to resolve. The incorporation of herbal medicine is really a shift in lifestyle rather than an overnight remedy, and is well worth the time and care you invest in yourself.

Where do you source your herbs and other products? The products used in the apothecary are sourced from select organic growers and suppliers dedicated to providing only the highest quality. We also wildcraft herbs locally when available, and even use herbs grown organically right in our backyard. We blend the tea, make tinctures, flower essences and balms in-house, and use glass and recycled or recyclable/compostable paper whenever possible. We encourage our clients to recycle and/or re-use packaging as well.
